Ashley L. Clark

1997 - 2021

Ashley Lauren Clark, beloved daughter, sister, and friend passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021. Ashley was born June 27, 1997, in Pittsburgh. She spent the majority of her life growing up in Lower Burrell and attended Burrell School District. Ashley was an avid reader, drawer and animal connoisseur. When she was not playing with her cats, Preston and Juju, Ashley could often be found taking outdoor walks, baking or learning to cook new things. She loved creating beautiful hand sketches in one of her many sketchbooks; an over-sized stack of markers and colored pencils to bring her sketches to life was never far away. Her creativity and talents were unsurpassable and her knowledge of random facts was abounding. She was especially knowledgeable about plants and enjoyed tending to her garden outside. One of her favorite plants to care for was sunflowers. Ashley maintained a large Pokemon card collection and had beaten each video game at least twice. Ashley also loved to read and shared that passion by giving book recommendations to her sister and undoubtedly anyone else who might have been interested. She will be sorely missed by all of those who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Edgar Clark and Amy Whitico (Clark), her sister, April (Jesse) Oddis (Clark), and two treasured cats, Preston and Juju. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Edgar and Nancy Clark, maternal grandmother, Linda Banner, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donovan "Bub" Banner, and her first cat, Mickey, whom she cared for deeply.
