Barbara A. Iapalucci

Barbara A. (Knott) Iapalucci, 84, of Crabtree, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Dec. 3, 1938, in Derry, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Cindrick) Knott. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Crabtree. Barbara was loved by many for her thoughtful and kind spirit. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and laughing with her daughter, Lucy, and her grandson, Zachary, whom she adored. She lived for her friends and family; always willing to brighten someone's day. Whether baking cookies at Rizzo's, spending time with her dear friend, Patty, or driving her grandson to school, she did it all with true love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Iapalucci; and five siblings, Alice, Lucy, Mary Elizabeth, Michael and George. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lucy Iapalucci; her grandson, Dr. Zachary J. Herman; her brother, Stephen Knott; and numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Crabtree.
