Barry L. Cobrando

Barry L. Cobrando, 62, of Ligonier, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at his home. Born Sept. 14, 1963, in Latrobe, he was the son of the late Richard D. and Louise (Porembka) Cobrando. Barry graduated from the culinary arts program at Westmoreland County Community College. He served as a chef at Rolling Rock Club for 38 years and a prep cook at St. Vincent College for five years. In his free time, Barry enjoyed hunting. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis J. Cobrando; and a sister-in-law, Rocky Cobrando. Barry was a wonderful father to Allie K. Cobrando, of Ligonier; he is also survived by four brothers, Richard L. Cobrando of Latrobe, Gary M. Cobrando of Latrobe, Kenneth Cobrando of Latrobe, and Steven K. Cobrando and his wife, Chris, of Greensburg; one sister, Cynthia Kielar, of Latrobe; a sister-in-law, Cathy Cobrando of Latrobe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
