Barry L. Lord, 65, of Madison, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at Select Specialty, Latrobe. He was born Feb. 18, 1956, in Greensburg, son of the late Carl and Thelma (McMahon) Lord. Barry was a graduate of Yough-Sewickley Senior High School, Herminie, Class of 1975. He was a lifetime member of Hilltop United Methodist Church, past member of The Renegade tractor pullers and an active member of Madison Volunteer Fire Co. for 42 years. Barry also provided yearly help at the Sewickley Fair tractor pulls. Barry loved farming with his twin brother, Larry, on their family farm where they would bail hay, pick corn and milk cows. You would never see Barry without his twin brother, Larry. They did everything together. Barry loved vintage tractors and watching tractor pulls. He enjoyed going to auctions, sales and fairs with his twin brother. He was a very quiet and reserved man but spoke a lot on subjects he enjoyed. He had a very good memory and enjoyed talking about the family genealogy. No matter where Barry was residing, he made sure that his Bible was with him. He is preceded in death by both parents and his twin brother, Larry D. Lord. He is survived by cousins, Doreen Knudson and husband, Steve of Herminie, Nancy Moore, of Madison, and Joe Cherichetti, of Pittsburgh.
