Benjamin C. Zilliot, 19, of Latrobe, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, Oct. 16, 2023. Benjamin was the beloved son of Lisa Wadsworth (Brett) and Jason Sillaman (Jen); and is survived by his siblings, Jessica Sillaman, Evan Zilliot, Brendin Wadsworth, Cayla Wadsworth and Jason Sillaman Jr. Ben had a group of really wonderful friends, including his longtime best friend, Hayden Smartnick. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Bindi. Ben was preceded in death by his Granny. Ben was a graduate of Greater Latrobe Senior High School, Class of 2023. He loved animals, enjoyed healthy cooking, and learning how to play guitar. He found great peace and joy in hiking, particularly in the stillness, peace and quiet of the forest. Ben was a deep thinker with a huge heart who enjoyed simple pleasures. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at Charter Oak Church, 449 Frye Farm Road, Greensburg, with the Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe.
