Beverly T. Stipanovich

1936 - 2022

Beverly T. Stipanovich, 86, of Cresson, formerly of White Oak, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022. She was born July 27, 1936, in Homestead, and was the daughter of the late John P. and Anna (Yarina) Timko. She was the wife to the late Alex Stipanovich, who passed away in April of 2018. Beverly worked for Penn State, McKeesport Campus, in the BUB snack bar for many years. She has been a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church since her and Alex got married 59 years ago. She enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates and PITT University sports, but loved her Hallmark movies. Beverly is survived by her sons, Nick (Darlene) Stipanovich, of Latrobe, and Mike (Christa) Stipanovich, of Cresson; and grandchildren, Amanda (David) McClearnon, Alex (Kylie) Stipanovich, Ethan, Ryan, Loren and Megyn Stipanovich. In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her siblings, Arnold Timko and Carol Darcy. Friends are welcome from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, 412-672-6322, Troy J. Gilbert, director. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, in the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, in McKeesport, with the Very Rev. Stevo Rocknage officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery in West Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Sava Orthodox Church Renovation Fund.
