Brandon Shea Obituary

Brandon "Buck" Ryan Shea, 43, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly at 6:52 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. Buck was born on Jan. 10, 1982, in Uniontown. He was best friends with his dad, Ken, and his sister, Aubrey, sharing an unbreakable bond, and he was deeply loved by his stepmother, Trisha. Buck was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 2000, and was employed for the past 20 years as a loader with United Parcel Service in New Stanton. He previously worked alongside his father as a bricklayer with Bricklayers Union Local #9. Buck never met a stranger, which was especially evident on his recent vacation, where he met new friends at each stop. Music was his escape, and he took pleasure in not just attending concerts but being completely immersed in the experience, traveling all across the country to see his favorite bands. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Steelers and the Red Wings and collecting as many jerseys as possible. He loved Star Wars and superheroes, which was reflected in his admired memorabilia and tattoos. He loved cars and his bike, as his true happy place was when he was behind the wheel. Most importantly, Buck loved helping people, especially with random acts of kindness. Buck will be sadly missed by his loving family, including his father, Kenneth Shea, and his wife, Trisha (Strickler) Shea; his sister, Aubrey Shea of Kennett Square; his paternal grandmother, Louise Firestone of Mt. Pleasant; his stepsiblings, Garrett Frost of Brownsville and Miranda Frost of Mt. Pleasant; his brother-in-law, Buddy Simmons; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and more friends than imaginable. He was preceded in death by his special "grandparent," Chuck Brennan; and his loyal and faithful pet dog, Sheady Pup. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (http://www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, and 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, in the funeral home chapel, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Pastor Tom Shirer officiating. Memorials may be made to HEAL Animal Rescue, 216 Depot St., Youngwood, PA 15697. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

I will always cherish the memories I have with you. From late night Crumbl cookie adventures, playing Mario Kart, random drives, and you teaching me how to shoot at the range. You were always there when I needed someone to talk to and I always had a good time with you. I can’t forget the time we went camping in March when it was 30 degrees out. I always let you talk me into adventures & I will continue those adventures for you. I will make sure Lu knows how great of a man her Uncle Buck was

Our little Stray Cat ❤ I will forever see you with your little red bandana, strumming that plastic guitar, all for our entertainment. Those tight blonde curls and big blue eyes melted our hearts. You are so loved, and will be deeply missed. Rest nephew, until we meet again.

I thought I first met Buck when we both had our Subarus and we became fast friends. But after hearing his last name I realized that I knew his family and think I met him when he was a kid. I have drifted away from fiends as I have gotten older and Buck was really the only good friend that I had. Having alot of trouble dealing with him being gone. Jesse my pup loved him too! We will never forget you “Showman”. Love Todd and Jesse
