Carolyn Vogle

Carolyn (McMunn) Vogle, of Cheswick, went home to be with her beloved late husband Charles Vogle, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, . Originally from Blawnox, they spent many years of their lives renovating a family farmhouse in Cheswick. Sister of the late Bob and John (Tip) McMunn. Survived by Kim Burwell, Dawn (McMunn) Eperthener, Alicia Mangolia, Donna Sole, the late John McMunn III, Robert C. McMunn, and Guy Henderschott; also many great-nieces and -nephews. Carolyn was a strong, independent, and loyal woman with many, many friends. She was especially fond of a young man that she and Chuck informally fostered many years ago, and Brent Jensen has returned her love and affection in full measure. All of us who knew her are deeply saddened by her sudden passing. Her family is especially grateful to her cousin Mary L. Karscig, who tirelessly advocated on her behalf these last few weeks. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY LTD., 930 Center Ave., Blawnox, PA, 15238. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
