Clyde "Bud" DeWitt Keeler Jr., 92, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was born April 22, 1929, in McKeesport, and was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth (Atwell) Keeler. He was the husband of the late Shirley Mae (Robb) Keeler. Bud retired from the former General Motors Fisher Body Plant in 1991 after 28 years of service and was also proprietor of the former Keeler Car Wash in McKeesport and was also a member of the Elks Club. He is survived by children, Robert (Susan) Keeler, of Mt. Pleasant, Janice (Ronald) Paterra, of Pittsburgh, Nancy (Jeffrey) Zeckowski, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Sheryl A. Keeler, of Trafford; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Bud was preceded in death by his special friend and companion, Jeanie Kramer. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township, 412-751-5000, Drew J. Gilbert, director. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2021, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
