Connie Persun Obituary

Connie B. Persun, 82, of Jeannette, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born July 20, 1940, in Byrdville, a daughter of the late Mark Arthur Burd and Marjorie (Mayle) Burd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Persun III; and a brother, Mark Burd. She is survived by her children, Vikki Haslett and her husband, Cole, John Eric Persun and Mark Burd Persun and his wife, Mary Therese; seven grandchildren, Logan and his fiancee, Thea, Luke, Conor, Grace, Gabriel, Marc and Zachary; a sister, Marcy Wilson and her husband, Irvin; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no services. MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Jeannette, is entrusted with arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
