Cynthia R. Hayes, 68, of Greensburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1952, a daughter of the late Max and Helen (Lorenzen) Honeywell. She had a great knack for decorating. She loved her family tremendously and took pride in making a comfortable home for them. Her love for her grandchildren was her guiding light through this all. She will be missed dearly. Surviving are her husband, Gerald Hayes; her daughter, Megan Perillo and husband, Joe; her son, Brian Hemmick and wife, Rachael Grasso; stepchildren, Jacob Hayes and Meredith King; her beloved grandchildren, Luca and Lorenzo Perillo and Brynlee and Landon King; her sisters, Angie Saunders and Pam Heater; and two special cousins, Stacey Stanley and Marlene Stone. Family and friends will be received from noon until 3 p.m. Thursday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, PA 15601. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Steven L. Craft officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Suite 203, Greensburg, PA 15601.
