Darren J. Brower

1970 - 2024

Darren John Brower, 53, of Arnold, passed away Fri., Oct. 4, 2024, following a brief illness, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Dec. 2, 1970, in Harrison Township, to the late Bruce N. and Helen Jean (Jankowski) Brower. Darren lived his entire life in the local area of Natrona, Freeport, and Arnold. He was a member of the former St. Ladislas Church, Natrona, and member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Darren graduated from Highlands High School in 1989. Darren studied computer technology in school and used his knowledge at various companies including the Steeler's catalog and River's Casino. He also had his own computer repair business, Brower PC Solutions. Most recently, Darren has been a Technical Sales Support Specialist (HVAC-R-team) with MSA Bacharach, providing technical expertise and solutions for clients. Darren enjoyed working with and had great respect for those he worked with at MSA/Bacharach over the past five years. Darren had a big heart, helping anyone he could. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed. Darren was a talented cook making delicious food using traditional family recipes. His favorite was grilling and using his smoker. His favorite holiday was Christmas, taking pride in decorating his home. Darren was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan. Survivors include his brother, Bruce F. (Lisa) Brower of Silver Lake, OH; nieces, Caroline (Connor) McLeod; great-niece, Lilah McLeod, all of Uniontown, OH; niece, Adrienne (Steve) Predico of Stow, OH; nephew, Brian Brower of Silver Lake, OH; and Bethany Jankowski of Vandergrift. Visitation on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 6-8 p.m., in DUSTER FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m., in Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights.
