Daryl Bruce Rock, 68, of RuffsDale (East Huntingdon Township), passed away at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, in Hempfield Manor, Hempfield Township. Bruce was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Connellsville, a son of Walter Rock, of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Bonnie Lee (Sherbondy) Rock, who passed away on Nov. 10, 2017. Bruce married Maria A. (Gagliardi) Rock on June 12, 1999. Bruce was a devoted husband, son, fur father and brother. He was employed for many years at Martin's Grocery Store in Connellsville. Bruce enjoyed life, making people laugh, animals, and volunteering. Bruce will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 23 years, Maria A. (Gagliardi) Rock; his father, Walter Rock (Dorothy); his furbabies, Angel, AJ, and Sammie; his siblings, Kim Rock (Ann), of Greensburg, Eric Rock (Melissa), of Bozeman, Mont., and Brian Rock (Linda), of Scottdale; his five nieces; three nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; a great-great-niece; and his aunt, Darlene Sherbondy.
