David Brough Obituary

David W. Brough Sr., 68, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at his home. He was born June 1, 1939, in Glassport, a son of George Brough, of White Oak, and the late Velora Garland Brough. Mr. Brough was the owner/operator of Meineke Muffler of North Huntingdon since 1985. Previously, he was employed by Copperweld Steel Co. as a strand general foreman with 25 years of service. He was a member of the Irwin Moose and the Jacktown Ride and Hunt Club. In addition to his father, he is survived by his beloved wife, M. Arleen Perkosky Brough; three sons, David and his wife Terri, Kenneth and his wife Kim, and Timothy and his wife Leslie, all of North Huntingdon; a daughter, Jill Farah and her husband, Gregory, of McLean, Va.; a brother, Robert and his wife, Vonnie Kay, of Ellwood City; three sisters, Ruth Brinley and her husband, David, of North Huntingdon, Cheryl Gretok and her husband, Thomas, of Greensburg, and Beverly Ray and her husband, William, of White Oak; and eight grandchildren, Mason, Chad, Derek, Clay, Trevor, Nolan, Mitchel and Conor. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, Circleville, North Huntingdon. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park.
