David Brown

1950 - 2025

It is with great sadness and my deepest sympathy that I inform you that David Brown, 75, of Lower Burrell, passed away this morning, Dec. 26, 2025, at his home. David was born on July 17, 1950, in Lake County, IL, to the late Frank and Marilyn Brown. He was loved by all for his kind and gentle nature. Although he could not speak to us, his innocent spirit and loving presence spoke volumes and made him easy to love. David moved into our Regency home in 2003 to have a fulfilling life. He moved from the Whitehaven State Center to the Wesley Family Service group home (formerly known as Family Services of Western PA) living setting, where he was given the opportunity to enjoy activities, individualized care, and participate in the NorthCo Vocational Program. In this nurturing environment, he was surrounded by the compassion and support he needed and was able to experience life in meaningful ways. David especially loved going to NorthCo daily, where he was engaged and enjoyed moments of connection and socialization. At home, he found comfort and relaxation listening to music and sound machines and loved the peaceful presence of his fish tank. David touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and will be deeply missed. We are grateful for the care, love, and dedication shown to him and extend our heartfelt thanks to those who supported him with such kindness. A special thank you to Monarch Hospice.
