David Allen Rosatti, 48, of Forbes Road, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, in UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland. Born June 9, 1959, in Greensburg, he was a son of John and Sandra Guala Rosatti, of Forbes Road. He worked as a masonry tradesman for the State Correctional Institution at Greensburg. David was a member of St. Mary Church and the Police Rod and Gun Club. He was very active with Forbes Road Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as president. He was also the Emergency Management Coordinator of Salem Township. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfonso and Helen Guala; his paternal grandfather, Carmen Rosatti; and paternal stepgrandfather, Lotto Gazze. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Arlene Fontana Rosatti; his son, David Rosatti Jr., at home; his paternal grandmother, Rose Gazze, of Greensburg; five siblings, Marcia Weaver and husband, Randy, of Greensburg, John Rosatti Jr. and friend, Sophie LaPorte, of Somerset, Tom Rosatti and wife, Tina, Bob Rosatti and wife, Sharon, and Steven Rosatti and wife, Kate, all of Forbes Road; two brothers-in-law, Vince Fontana and wife, Melony, and Henry Fontana and wife, Debbie, all of Greensburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of David from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, 724-837-0020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Church, Forbes Road, with Father Richard Chirichiello, OSB, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Forbes Road Volunteer Fire Department will hold services at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
