David L. Willby

1943 - 2018

David L. Willby, 74, of Irwin, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at home in the company of his wife and children. David was born July 27, 1943, a son of the late Norman and Irene (Haley) Willby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Michele; his infant grandson, Aiden Blaylock; and recently, his brother-in-law, Jack Schmidt. He is survived by his wife of more than 45 years, Margaret "Peg" (Imperant) Willby; and his children, Michael and his wife Renae, Laura, Gretchen Blaylock and her husband Jason, and Ryan and his wife Lisa. He is also survived by his two loving grandchildren, Dylan Blaylock and Kayla Blaylock; siblings, Roger and his wife Kathy, Clifford and his wife Francyne, and Joan Schmidt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Per David's wishes, there will not be a viewing. Funeral arrangements are in the care of LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. A private memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate David's life as an outstanding husband and father, as well as a very hard worker and helpful and generous person to others.
