Denise A. DiFrancesco, 65, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was born Oct. 29, 1955, in Jeannette, a daughter to the late Charles and Virginia (Rupp) Landis. Denise had worked as a teacher and office manager and was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed photography, travel, spending time outside and had a laugh that lit up the room. Denise will be missed by her three daughters, Jessica DiFrancesco, Katrina (Scott) Bauer and Carissa DiFrancesco; sister, Deborah (Robert) Stineman; and three grandchildren, Noah, Gaberial and Bella Thompson. Denise will be truly missed by her loyal companion, Bob Carr. She is also survived by her former husband, Bob DiFrancesco, numerous sibling-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177. A blessing service for Denise will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home, with Father Dan Ulishney. Burial will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, 2835 E. Carson St. Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
