Dona L. Dunmire

Dona L. (Brown) Dunmire, 81, of Export, formerly of Monroeville and Melbourne Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, in Golden Living, Murrysville. Dona had many successful battles with cancer, but finally lost that day. She was born Dec. 2, 1932, in Altoona, the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie Brown. In addition to her parents, Dona was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Dunmire Sr.; a daughter, Kimberee Dunmire; and 11 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her loving children, Michele (John) Nagoda, of Export, William J. Jr. (Lisa) Dunmire, of Monroeville, Brent L. (Linda) Dunmire of Bruin, and Perian Dunmire, of Bluffton, S.C.; also survived by seven grandchildren, Christopher, Dena, Jason, Eric, Patrick, Ashley and Lenna Lou; plus eight great-grandchildren. Respecting Dona's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service and interment will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at the First Church of Christ, 113 Good Shepherd Road, Altoona, PA 16601.
