Dorothy Calisti Obituary

Dorothy E. (Richard) Calisti, 95, of Export, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Pleasant Valley, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Kozain) Richard. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Calisti; a daughter, Kathy Kotys; and siblings, Ruth Salopek, John Richard and Kenneth Richard. Surviving are her loving children, David (Rosella) Calisti, of Louisville, Ky., Dennis (Colleen) Calisti, of Jeanette, and Elizabeth "Liz" (Robert) Jones, of Export; grandchildren, Jamie, Amy, Melinda Calisti, Leah, Rachel, Ben Kotys and Alexandra Jones; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Richard; daughter in-law, Debbie Calisti; son-in-law, Laurence Kotys; and many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Respecting Dorothy's wishes, services and interment will be private. WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME INC., Export is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. What a lovely picture to have been chosen for Aunt Dorothy..just as I always remembered her.. gracious and so kind! May she rest in heavenly peace. Our sympathy to you all.
