Dorothy C. Pollick

1928 - 2025

Dorothy Cooper Pollick, 96, formerly of Harmarville, entered eternal life on Feb. 25, 2025. She died peacefully with her daughter at her side in Saint Anne Home, Greensburg. Dorothy was born July 16, 1928, in Springdale, to the late Ralph and Lenora Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pollick; brothers, John and Ralph Cooper; and her two sons, Robert Pollick and John Pollick III. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Constance 'Connie' Peluso, and her husband, Joseph, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Joseph Peluso Jr. Esq., of Pittsburgh, and Franca Peluso Mulhern, EdS, and her husband, Patrick; and great-grandson, Maclin Mulhern, of Granger, Indiana. The family thanks Dr. Thomas De Gregory, Medical Director, and Jeff Long, Administrator, and the wonderful and caring nursing and professional staff at Saint Anne Home for their competencies in caring for Dorothy for the past four years, providing an excellent patient-centric and family experience. Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A Prayer Service of Transition will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the funeral home. Private interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
