Earl Englehart Obituary

Earl Conrad Englehart Jr., of Chester, Va., passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Va. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Conrad Englehart Sr.; his mother, Julia Melada Englehart; and very recently by his son, Michael L. Englehart, of Irwin. He is survived by his wife, Diana Shaffer Englehart; his daughters, Elyse (David) Jennings, of Richmond, Va., and Jamie (Steven) Tammariello, of Oswego, N.Y.; his sons, Earl (Pam) Englehart III, of Frederick, Md., Wyatt (Janna) Englehart, of Monroe, N.C., and Douglas (Cindy) Englehart, of Greensburg; his daughter-in-law, Amy Larimer Englehart, widow of his son, Michael, of Irwin; and his brother, Ronald Englehart. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, Jackson Conrad Jennings, Jennifer Cheves, Sarah and Patrick Tammariello, Chad, Melissa, Benjamin, Megan, Erin, Hannah, Adam and Elizabeth Englehart; his beloved mother-in-law, Jean McCallen Shaffer; sisters-in-law, Charlene (Michael) Marinchak, Jeannie Bolton, Linda Bates; brother-in-law, Charles (Sheila) Shaffer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service and burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Brush Creek Cemetery, Irwin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626.
