Eleanor J. Bidese

Eleanor Josephine Bidese, 101, of Greensburg, died Friday, April 05, 2024, in St. Anne Home. She was born November 13, 1922, in Delmont, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Borgo Bidese. Josephine was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. She worked for many years as a hairdresser in the Greensburg area and, in her later years, worked at St. Anne's as a hairdresser before making her final home there. She was well known for her pleasant disposition and her quick-wittedness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Mario and John Bidese. She is survived by her cousin, Henry David Spinelli; and her devoted godson, Martin Fry. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Josephine, Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
