Elizabeth A. Zamiskie

Elizabeth A. Zamiskie, 100, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at her home. She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Mammoth, a daughter of the late Joseph and Christine (Puskar) Kissell. Libby was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish in Latrobe and the church's Rosary Altar Society. She was also a former member of St. Vincent Women's Auxiliary. She loved when people would come to visit her and always made them feel welcome. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Zamiskie; and seven siblings, Mary Helen Forish, Catherine Myers, Pauline Shafer, Julianna Zeltner, Josephine Kissell, Raymond Kissell, and John Kissell. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, including her caregivers, Beverly Gettemy (Bob) and Brian Poklembo (Colleen); and two special caregivers, Michele Cole and Angel Milko. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, in HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Members of the St. Vincent Rosary Altar Society will recite the rosary at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, in St. Vincent Basilica. Everyone please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.
