Ethel G. Klassen, 92, of North Huntingdon died, Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at her home. She was born Sept. 4, 1929, in North Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Nicholas J. and Josephine (Hoffman) Klassen. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an office worker for Westinghouse Electric. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, and its Christian Mothers/Women's Guild and the landscape committee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Francis, William and Nicholas Klassen; sisters, Marie Klassen, Elizabeth Rodman and Veronica Myers. Surviving are nephews and nieces, Ronald Rodman, Paula Heaps, Max Klassen, Diane Rogne, Vickie Zuber, Lisa McIntyre and Dawn Klassen. Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC. 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. Parting prayers will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Immaculate Conception Church, 308 Second St., Irwin, PA 15642. Such a cool part of life to have had you as I grew up! Her whit and her smile went on a mile. Always a wave from across the tubs from the drive, always calling me Sam first, then Scott.... You will be missed...rest easy
