Flora M. Ghia

Flora M. Ghia, 94, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, in Lower Burrell. She was born Oct. 26, 1931, in Arnold to the late Alphonse and Mary J. (Chiano) Guercione. Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis V. Ghia, who passed in 2021; and by her daughter, Catherine Beck. She is survived by her sons, Delmiro (Denise) Ghia of Tennessee and James Ghia of Nevada; her daughter, Mary Louise (James) Kunkle of Lower Burrell; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother, John Guercione. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Flora was a devoted member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington, as well as the Columbiana. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, PA 15068. Johnpaul Bertucci, owner/supervisor. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington.
