Frances C. Burlando, 86, of Baden, PA (formerly of Gilpin Township, PA), passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at Concordia Villa St. Joseph Personal Care in Baden. A daughter of the late Andrew P. Burlando and Dora Clara (Cuffia) Burlando, she was born on Nov. 1, 1938, in Gilpin Township. Frances had worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years before retiring. She was a member of Christ The King Parish in Gilpin Township, serving on the church's Ministry of Consolation. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. Survivors include a sister, Clara A. Bayne, of Vincentian, PA; and numerous cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at Christ The King Parish, 125 Park Road, Leechburg, PA 15656, with the Rev. Alan N. Polczynski as celebrant. Private interment will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery in Gilpin Township. Arrangements have been entrusted to the CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051. I went to Nursing school with Frances...we graduated in 1973. She was always kind & considerate. She also had a dry sense of humor that I enjoyed!
May she rest in peace.

Frances was a wonderful person and great nurse. I am so glad I got to know her while working with Visiting Nurses of Western PA. I knew how conscience she was of the care of her patients. Up until a couple of years ago, we stayed in touch through out the years, and right now, I regret not reaching out to her more recently.
