Frank J. Cristello Jr., 72, of Vandergrift, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Born July 4, 1949, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Constance E. "Tina" (Rainelli) Cristello Sr. Frank was a graduate of Kiski Area High School and Penn State University. He was a strong supporter of the Penn State Alumni Association. Frank was employed as an inside customer service representative for several steel corporations over many years before retiring in 2016. He was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift. Frank enjoyed casino trips, golfing, sports and specifically playing basketball. He was totally devoted to his mother and father. He is survived by several loving cousins. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, in the BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until parting prayers of transfer at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2022. Following parting prayers, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Father James Loew, OSB, as celebrant.
