Gary E. Laughlin

1944 - 2025

Gary E. Laughlin, 81, of Delmont, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on Nov. 7, 1944, the son of the late Andrew and Almetta (Henneman) Laughlin. Gary was a member of the Corvette Club of Western PA and the North Pittsburgh Corvette Club; he also loved hunting and, most importantly, spending time with family. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis. Gary will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret (Lofink) Laughlin; as well as his daughters, Kristin (Hodge) Thatcher, Heather Lozano, and Gretchen Laughlin (Amy). Gary was a proud grandfather of his grandchildren, Karah, Rachel, Karson, Robert, Alexis, Kaleb, and Malakai; and great-grandchild, Gracie, whom he cared for deeply. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Dr., Delmont, (724-468-1177), followed by a service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at St. John de La Salle Baptist, 497 Athena Drive, Delmont, PA 15626.
