Glenn A. "Bimzy" Thomas, 66, of Southwest Greensburg, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, in his home. He was born on May 17, 1959, in Greensburg, a son of the late Lenora J. Thomas. Bimzy was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and had been employed by FC Meyer Packaging, Jeannette. He was a life member of the Southwest Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed playing in the department softball league in his younger years. He cherished the moments he spent with his son, Evan, from helping coach his youth baseball team to their hours spent at the bowling alley. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sara A. (Plumb) Thomas, who affectionately called him "Puck." He is survived by his loving son, Evan M. Thomas; two brothers, James L. Thomas and David A. Thomas (Cindy); niece and nephews and their children, Brian Thomas, David Thomas, Amanda Boyd, and Jason Thomas; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. The Southwest Greensburg VFD will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m., Monday, in the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, in the funeral home.
