Jack L. Farlow, 82, of New Stanton, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. He was born June 7, 1932, in Reduction, son of the late Viola (Farlow) Silsley. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from McKeesport Steel. Surviving are five children, Jackie Adams, of Zanesville, Ohio, Lester Farlow, of Greensburg, Diana Farlow and fiance, Scott Fox, of New Stanton, Cindy Geary, of Scottdale, and Mark Farlow and wife, Missy, of Youngwood; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Vargo, Justin Vargo, Allissa Ryan, Hallie Long, Amber Geary, Stephanie Faylor, Andrew Geary, Zachary Farlow, Abigail Farlow and Ashlee Farlow; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. (Haney) Farlow; and four brothers, Edward, Duane, Gerald and Gene Silsley. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at the at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Hixson officiating. Interment will follow in the Youngwood Cemetery, Youngwood.
