Jacqueline Sue (Walters) Blackburn, 75, passed away peacefully in Medina County, OH, on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025. Born June 22, 1950, in Allegheny County, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Lois V. (Shaffer) Walters. Jacqueline was a graduate of Mira Costa High School in Southern California and spent the majority of her life in Armstrong and Westmoreland County, in Pennsylvania. Jacqueline retired as an administrative assistant from Alcoa in New Kensington, where she was admired for her professionalism, diligence, and kindness. Later in life, while her daughter was in high school, Jacqueline proudly earned her bachelor's degree in business administration a testament to her determination and lifelong love of learning. Jacqueline had many passions that reflected her warmth and zest for life. She loved reading, singing in her church choir, and playing cards with her friends. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and PGA golf, she rarely missed a game or tournament. Her quick wit and gentle sarcasm often brought laughter to those around her. In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by three of her sisters, Gwenda Ridgeway, Holly Walters, and Linda Kindoll. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Kereszturi; her son-in-law, Todd Kereszturi; and two grandchildren, Brayden and Kendal Kereszturi. Jacqueline took great joy in being Grandma. She was their biggest fan whether it was cheering for Brayden at soccer and basketball games or attending Kendal's dance recitals, piano performances, and lacrosse matches. Jacqueline is also survived by her brothers, Bradley Walters, Lance Walters, and Bryan Walters; and her sisters, Lois Ann Sovey and April Waugaman. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, in CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at the hour of 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
