James J. Grimm

James J. Grimm, 45, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Greensburg, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, in UPMC Mercy, Uptown. He was born July 30, 1962, in Jeannette, a son of Sylva Cramer Grimm, of Greensburg, and the late Donald L. Grimm. Jim was Methodist by faith. He was a 1980 graduate of Latrobe Area High School. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Glenn R. Grimm and his wife, Mary, of McAlisterville; two sisters, Karen Stynchula and her husband, Stanley, of Latrobe, and Linda Ashcraft and her husband, Cecil, of Latrobe; three nieces; six nephews; and his faithful companion, Coco. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. David L. Eversdyke officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
