James Pastorius Obituary

James Richard Pastorius, of New Stanton, peacefully passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home. He was born May 1, 1941, in Mt. Pleasant, son of the late James Willor Pastorius and Helen Virginia Hammel Pastorius. James was retired from Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Hunker Volunteer Fire Department and the Hempfield Hunt Club. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (Hirak) Pastorius; daughter, Judith Ballew and husband, Dave; granddaughters, Jessica Cochenour (Chad), Disiree Wiltrout (Brandon), and Becky Cochenour (Rob); and great-grandsons, Hayden and Hunter Wiltrout. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Pastorius; several nieces and nephews; and his recent rescue dog and best friend, Chip. James was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Jean Moore and Mary Pauline Rafferty; brother-in-law, Ralph Moore; nephew, Curtis Bortz; and niece, Carrie Bortz.
Per James' wishes, there will be no viewing. JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in James' memory to Animal Friends of Westmoreland.

This is Adam Bortz, Son of Carrie Bortz, Grandson of Mary Pauline, I didn't know he passed until today, As i was searching some family history. Any family member can call my uncle Craig Bortz if they have his number, for my number.
