Jeffrey E. Angelo, of Mt. Pleasant, passed unexpectedly at 66 (or was it 65 He never could remember his own age). Though he was most proud of his Italian roots, he left the party early in true "Jeffrey fashion" on Nov. 12, 2025, with an "Irish Goodbye." He was born in 1959 in Greensburg, a son of the late Jimmy and Ella Mae (Garris) Angelo. He was predeceased by his older brother, Jerry Angelo. He is survived by his "twin" older brother, Douglas "Mickey" Angelo; and sister-in-law, Carol. He was "Jeffrey" to his favorite nieces, Michele Duboy and Kristi Angelo, never "Uncle Jeffrey" because that made him sound old. To his great-nieces, Arla and Kenna Duboy, he was known as "Guncle." He will be greatly missed by Christopher Duboy (known as his "tech support"). Also surviving are his cousins, Kathleen Hayden (Chuck), Elaina Livengood (Steve), and Linda Shinners (Dave). Despite his best attempts, he will be greatly missed by the many friends he made. Jeffrey held a longstanding career at Cenveo, formerly National Envelope/Williamhouse. He was a lifetime member of the G.V.F.D. #3. He enjoyed "tending bar," watching COPs, attending NASCAR races, and visiting casinos. He loved going to the beach and camping with his family (which typically revolved around who could embarrass each other the most). He would take his nieces to see musicals and, growing up, had them convinced he was married to Cher. You didn't want Jeffrey to sing or dance, but when he did, it was typically belting out disco music or Queen. Covered in patriotic tattoos, Jeffrey was passionate about honoring and supporting our military and veterans; he was looking forward to starting volunteer work with the VA hospital in his retirement. Here's where we should incorporate personal sayings, habits, or what made Jeffrey unique But everyone who knew Jeffrey knows that we can't print most of those here. Jeffrey brought laughter to the party (even though he only stayed for 15 minutes); he lived his life on his own terms and always said, "It's MY story." Jeffrey would be yelling at us for the small fanfare we have already made in his passing; there will be no viewing, and services will be private. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Jeffrey from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg. Please consider a donation to "The
Wounded Warrior Project" or "Tunnel to Towers" in his honor. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
