John was one of the most influential coaches, teachers and leaders of Southwestern Pennsylvania. He helped the Mt. Pleasant football program win several WPIAL titles and was a mentor to many young boys who without his influence would surely not have had much success. He also helped save many lives as a ski patroller at Seven Springs. John’s legacy will never be forgotten by the many he motivated to go beyond their comfort zone into the unknown. I’m so sad to hear of his passing and will never forget his intensity and willingness to inspire the people who needed a little push to perform beyond what they ever thought possible.

So sorry Betty and family. I'll always remember John making sure we got to ski. He also helped with my essay receiving an A on how to make snow. I'll never forget all those Friday Night Game schedules you and John had in his coaching career. Betty always a big Thanks to you for being such a caring friend to our family.
