Jonny Harold Foreman, 57, of Acme, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant, he was a son of Herbert J. Foreman, of Acme, and the late Norma J. (Roadman) Foreman. He was a veteran of the Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was employed by PennDOT for 26 years as a machine operator. Jonny was a member of Everson VFW and the American Legion Donegal. in addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Bridget (Moorhead) Foreman; two daughters, Heidi (James) Mason and Jodie (Michael) Pritts, all of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Isaac, Madison, Trevor, Stephen, Maxwell and Chase; two brothers, Harry (Daniela) Foreman, of Denver, Colo., and Tommy Foreman; sister, Mary (the Rev. Tyrone) Smartnick, all of Mt. Pleasant; three nephews and one niece, Justin, Megan, Nathanael and Andrew. Jonny was an outdoorsman who enjoying fishing and hunting. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Acme Open Bible Church, at which time the service will begin with the Rev. Tyrone T. Smartnick, brother-in-law, officiating and the Rev. Ralph R. Miller co-officiating. Military service will be accorded by Armbrust Veteran Association at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Acme Open Bible Church.
