Joseph Haynackie Obituary

Joseph R. Haynackie, 74, of Greensburg, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Mercy Jeannette Hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1931, in Bovard, a son of the late Walter and Helen Goretski Haynackie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Edward and Frank Haynackie; and four sisters, Helen Dlutowski, Mary Kundrod, Victoria Dudash and Stella Pauli. He was a retired deliveryman for Mountain View Interiors of Greensburg and currently an active woodworker at Davis Furniture Restoration in Adamsburg. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral of Greensburg and the Hunt Club of South Greensburg. He is survived by two sisters, Agnes Saglime, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Bertha and her husband, John Yagla, of Bovard; a brother, Stanley "Artie" Haynackie, of Bovard; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the ROBERT B. DAVIS II FUNERAL HOME, 29 Division Ave., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral of Greensburg. The family asks that those attending the funeral Mass drive directly to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
