Joseph A. "JoJo" Salvino, 34, of Monessen, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. He was born in Pittsburgh, Nov. 10, 1976, the son of Anita Reda and Joseph J. (Toni Lynn) Salvino, all of Monessen. Joe was employed as a prison guard at the Westmoreland County Prison in Greensburg. He enjoyed working, riding his motorcycle and lived to be with his son, Joey. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen, the Italian Society of Mutual Aid and the Firemen's Club No. 1, all in Monessen. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Brianna Salvino, of Monessen; a brother, C.J. Salvino, of Monessen; his grandparents, Anthony "Tote" and Antoinette Reda, of Monessen, and Joseph and Betty Salvino, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held Tuesday, beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany Church, Monessen.
