Judah Truth Pope, 13, of Rector, PA, went home to be with Jesus on Jan. 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with febrile illness related epileptic syndrome (F.I.R.E.S.). Born on Dec. 9, 2011, in Somerset, PA, Judah was the son of Timotheus and Kendra Pope. He believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a 4-year-old and was a tender little boy with the sweetest spirit and some competitive drive. Throughout his bout with F.I.R.E.S., beginning in 2017, his smile and resilience touched the lives of so many around the world. He is survived by his parents, Timotheus and Kendra; and his siblings, Simeon, Jada, Kayla, Susanna, Charity, Asher, and Haven. Friends will received from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, in the MCCABE FUNERAL HOME, 144 East Main St., Ligonier.
