Kenneth Morran "a.k.a. Santa Claus," 84, of New Kensington/Plum Boro, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021. He was born on July 15, 1937, in Reynoldsville, to the late James and Violet (Hiles) Morran.Beloved husband of Betty (Sheba) for 63 loving years; loving father of Deborah (John) Powell, Carol Tamburo, and Kenneth (Tammy) Morran II; grandfather of Ashley (Dom) Franco, Jordan Powell, Taylor, Holly and Kelly Tamburo; great-grandfather of Athena Powell; and dear brother of James Robert Morran and Beverly Rugh. Along with his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his two sisters, Sara Seman and Barbara Burgung; and two grandchildren, Sam and Kasey Tamburo. He owned Ken's Service in Plum for over 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and loved attending antique car shows, especially the one in Hershey. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, from at RJ SLATER 1V FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with burial to follow in Plum Creek Cemetery. www.rjslater.com.

Betty and family. So sorry for your loss. Kenny was a great guy. Going to miss seeing him at yard sales. The fish fry was the best. You and Kenny would spend hours there. I loved talking to you both. My deepest sympathies.

Betty so very sorry about Kenny won't be stopping just got out of AVH with Covid and VERY weak and sick Paula os also positive but taking care of me .So glad we saw you guys at VFW music fest.May God Bless you and your whole family
