Kenneth L. Pritts, 83, of Smithton, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at Independence Health System, Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born May 31, 1942, in Finleyville, a son of the late Clifford and Lillie Belle Trinkala Pritts. Ken retired from Akzo-Nobel-Stauffer Chemical in Monongahela as a plant foreman, was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Perryopolis, was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, and was an avid hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Ostetrico; and a brother, Darryl Trinkala. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Behare Pritts; a daughter, Karen Regotti, and husband, Kevin, of Smithton; a son, Kenneth Pritts, and wife, Missy, of South Huntingdon Township; grandsons, Nathan Regotti (Casey), Brandon Regotti (Tyler), Justin Regotti, and Kameron Pritts; granddaughter, McKenzie Pritts; and a great-grandson, Rory Regotti. He is also survived by a sister, Rita Hagerman (Jerry) of Smithton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a grand fur baby, Snickers. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at L.L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Second St., Smithton. A Divine Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perryopolis, with Fr. Oleh Seremchuk as celebrant. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Those attending services on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, are asked to go directly to the church. A Panachida service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, in the funeral home.
