Klara Kovacs

Klara (Horvath) Kovacs, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at Walden's View. She was born, May 31, 1927, in Dunavecse, Hungary, a daughter of the late Albert and Erzsebet (Daranyi) Horvath. Prior to her retirement, Klara was owner-operator of Straw Pump Auto Body Panels and a member of West Hempfield Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kovacs; son-in-law, Leonard Matta; sisters, Zsuzsa and Gizella; brothers, Zsigmond and Imre from Hungary; and brother, Albert, of North Huntingdon. She is survived by her daughter, Marta Kovacs Matta (Terry Baker); granddaughter, Lindsey Matta (Matthew Corrie); sister, Jolan, of New Zealand and Amal of Hungary; great-granddaughter, Sadie Faith Corrie; and nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews here and abroad. There will be no visitation. Interment will be private in Brush Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners. Arrangements made by the JAMES W.
