Larry W. Cramer

1947 - 2019

Larry W. "Doc" Cramer, 71, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, March 7, 2019, in Excela Health-Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Cramer was born March 14, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Messemore and Naomi Smith Cramer. He was a 1965 graduate of the former Hurst High School. Doc had been a self-employed contractor-builder. He enjoyed building just about anything, and looking and shopping on eBay. His greatest joy in life, however, came when he was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving family, his devoted wife of 45 years, Joan M. Balcerek Cramer; his children, Angie C. Keim and her husband, John, of Scottdale, Arron M. Cramer and her husband, Floyd Shroyer, Scott M. "Spike" Cramer, and Larry "Docie" Cramer and his wife, Annette, all of Mt. Pleasant; and by his beloved grandchildren, Payton Shroyer, Theresa Thomas, and Chase Cramer. Doc is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Rusty Cramer, Danny Cramer, Linda Cook, and Joyce Janitor.
Family and friends will be received from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with Pastor Matt Goldsberry officiating.
