Linda Emerick Obituary

Linda M. Emerick, 77, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025. She was born Aug. 3, 1948, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Louis A. DePaul and Clara Pickett Palmer. She was a member of Son Rise Church, Unity Township, and had been a member of the former Hempfield VFD Station 29 Ladies Auxiliary. Prior to retirement, Linda was a maintenance worker at First United Presbyterian Church and Westmoreland Mall. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Tina DePaul; and her brother, Anthony DePaul. Linda is survived by her husband, George A. Emerick; two sons, Carl (Norma) Emerick, of Greensburg, and David (Danielle) Emerick, of Lebanon; two daughters, Sherry (Kevin) Washabau, of Youngwood, and Lori (David) Gumpher, of Level Green; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. A memorial service will be held at a later date. For online condolences, visit BarnhartFuneralHome.com.
