Linda Thompson

Linda Ball Bahneman Thompson, formerly of Delmont, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, after a heroic battle with ALS. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Ball, of Greensburg. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Dale Thompson, formerly of Monroeville, and her daughter, Stephanie Gladwell (Franklin), of Cedar Point, N.C., and son, Todd Bahneman (Verena), of Upper Marlboro, Md. Linda has six grandchildren that she adored, Robbie, Walker and Adeline Gladwell, of Cedar Point, N.C., and Emma Carrion (Jeff), of Owings Mills, Md., Allison Bahneman, of Austin, Texas, and Thomas Bahneman, of Upper Marlboro, Md. Linda's surviving siblings are Judy Gibson (Bernard), of Belle Vernon, and John Ball (Kathy), of Greensburg. Linda is also survived by her nephew, Stephen Gibson (Brenda), Jennifer Reed (Stephen) and Janet Yoder (Tom). Linda loved golfing, baking, shopping, playing cards and visiting with family friends. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, in the Estero Community Church, Estero, Fla.
