Loretta Forkey Obituary

Loretta L. Forkey, 91, of South Greensburg, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 2, 1931, in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Vrabel) Forkey. She was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and, prior to retirement, had been employed by Walworth Valve Company, South Greensburg. She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg, as well as the church choir and funeral choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ronald Forkey (Anna Mae), Patricia Dreliszak (John), Rosella Loach (James) and Bernice Clark (John); and nephew, Michael Clark. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Karen Mervosh (Mark), David Forkey (Susan), Mark Dreliszak (Mary), Teresa Dreliszak, Patty Heimer, Nancy Patterson (Dan), Paul Clark, Kathy Brady and Steve Clark; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and a great-great-niece and a great-great-nephew. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, 1715 Poplar St., Greensburg, PA 15601, where a funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Private interment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
