Lucille Layko Obituary

Lucille Layko, 74, of McKeesport, formerly of Frank, Pa., died Friday, May 4, 2007, in Quiet Ridge Manor, McKeesport. She was born Jan. 17, 1933, in Smithdale, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Singosky) Layko. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Karoly, of Houston, Texas, and Rose Cordas, of Cleveland, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, and her extended family at Quiet Ridge Manor, to whom she wished her heartfelt thanks for their loving care. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Halt, Ethel Miller and Anna Klein, and two brothers, John and Robert Layko. Visitation will be from 9 until a 10 a.m. blessing service Monday in the J. WILLIAM MCCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton. The Rev. James F. Bump will officiate. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery. www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
