Lynda A. Aldridge

1945 - 2023

Lynda Anne Aldridge, 77, of Fairmont, formerly of New Alexandria, went to be with the Lord Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, with her son at her side. She was the wife of the late James R. Aldridge. She was born Aug. 11, 1945, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Carl Sr. and Imogene Panetti. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a dedicated member of St. James Catholic Parish in New Alexandria, where she served as past president of the Rosary Altar Society, a Eucharistic minister, and was a lector and a member of the choir. She previously worked as a teacher and at the Times West Virginian in Fairmont, W. Va. She and her husband traveled around the country pursuing his love of trains. She is survived by two sons John Jr. (Leeann) Pellegrin and David Pellegrin, of Fairmont, W. Va.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Beth (Steve) Wilson, of Albuquerque, N.M.; along with three nieces and two nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Panetti Jr., and one sister, Patricia Phillips. Catholic funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, in St. James Parish, 306 St. James Lane, New Alexandria, PA 15670.
