Mark A. Robaugh

Mark A. Robaugh, 53, of New Stanton, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, in Jefferson Hospital. Mark was born Aug. 12, 1970, in Connellsville, a son of Coleen A. Danko Robaugh, of Dawson, and the late Gary Eugene Robaugh, who died Sept. 17, 2012. Mark was a graduate of Connellsville High School. Following his graduation from high school, he enrolled in the former Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing. He then graduated from the Westmoreland-Latrobe Hospital Hospitals School of Anesthesia. Mark has been employed by Jefferson Hospital as a nurse anesthetist from 2007 to Sept. 1, 2023. In addition to his mother, Coleen A. Danko Robaugh, he is survived by his son, Andrew James Robaugh, of New Stanton, and Andrew's mother, Carrie A. Zigenfus Robaugh, also of New Stanton; two brothers, James Falenski and Brian Holland; his aunt, Sister Christina Danko, Sisters of Mercy, Pittsburgh; also a dear friend of the family, Sister Kurian, Sisters of Mercy, Pittsburgh; and one uncle, Douglas Danko, of Bentleyville. In addition to his father, Gary Eugene Robaugh, Mark was predeceased by two uncles, John and Richard Danko. With careful thought and consideration and in accordance to his wishes, a private family committal service with interment will be held Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, in Scottdale Cemetery.
